Direct Cremation
No one is allowed to attend at the Crematorium, no Funeral Service will take place and no viewing is permitted of the deceased. If the Doctors Fee (£ 82.00) is not required this will be deducted from the cost.

Our Basic Funeral is a basic funeral arrangement as defined by the Scottish government, at present the only UK government body to publish a recommendation.

*Professional Services - Providing a 24-hour service and support to our clients. Arranging and managing any requirements, up to and including the funeral and providing an advisory service thereafter. Transfer of the deceased in a suitable vehicle including the necessary staff and equipment within the local area.

An Oak veneer coffin with additional raised panel moulds to sides with ‘wreath’ mould to lid. £525.00

The Jedburgh
A Mahogany veneer coffin with raised lid, polished with a Mahogany stain. £575.00

The Raby
An Oak veneer coffin with deep routered panel sides and raised lid polished in Gold Mahogany. £665.00

The Lindisfarne
An Oak semi solid with Jacobean Panels to the sides, ends and raised lid. Polished in Mid Oak. £785.00

A Solid Oak coffin traditionally made with butt joints, panel sides, ends and raised lid. £995.00

The Funeral Director’s Charges

Various costs in making arrangements for the funeral including optional services.

These may consist of:

  • The coffin or casket.
  • Use of our facilities, Chapel of Rest etc.
  • Care of the deceased and necessary treatments if required.
  • Staff cost for unsocial hours can be included.
  • Transport costs for our hearses and limousines and the removal of the deceased from home or hospital.
  • Collating, collecting and delivering all documents required for the funeral.
  • Provision bearers to escort the coffin into the church, crematorium or cemetery.
